It is built using robust 12-gauge materials and features a 2-inch thick door, steel thresholds, and bullet hinges to improve security. Moreover, the door has pre-drilled tabs which simplify installation. The Air 4 has protective features that can block drafts, insects, smoke, moisture, sound, light, and fire. These features consist of 5/8 inch tempered dual pane glass, Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping, and a door sweep located at the bottom.
