The robust Blackbird is constructed from 12 gauge material, greater than the industry standard. The doors are 2 inches thick and feature a steel threshold, bullet hinges with grease fittings, and pre-drilled tabs for installation ease. To ensure our customers an energy-efficient product, the double-pane, 5/8" tempered glass construction includes a dual-sealing system that aids in eliminating heat and air leaks. Our frames come with Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping to decrease air-flow between hot and cold temperatures. A door sweep is also included to further combat sound, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke, and fire infiltration.
